In June 2023, fans seeking physical tickets for Taylor Swift's Brazilian shows camped for days outside Allianz Parque in São Paulo and Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Queues formed again for added dates, and police supervision increased after conflict with ticket scalpers; three resellers were detained at the São Paulo line.

More than two million people also entered an online queue, but the physical box-office line required someone to keep a place on the pavement. A vast digital waiting room and a tent-based street order coexisted for the same concerts. Scarcity was converted into two currencies: a number on a screen and time physically spent outside a stadium.
