Before the 2022 SEA Games women's football final between Vietnam and Thailand, a long line formed beside the fence leading to Cam Pha Stadium. Yet much of it consisted of named chairs, bricks and other objects rather than people. Admission was free, but tickets were to be distributed at 7:30 a.m. on 21 May at three locations, with a maximum of two per person. Demand exceeded the stadium's roughly 16,000 seats, so supporters tried to preserve a place from the previous day.

Security staff removed the chairs and bricks at midday on 20 May to prevent disorder and visual clutter. In this queue, bodies were replaced by everyday objects carrying their owners' names. A free ticket was still scarce: access depended not on price, but on who could arrive early and leave something behind to hold a position.
